Privacy Policy

Notice at collection (California). When you use our form we collect the details you type in (name, phone, email, ZIP, project details and notes) to match you with up to 3 ADU builders, and electricians, solar, fence or landscape pros for next-step requests so they can contact you. Those businesses may pay us a referral fee, which California law may treat as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do this only if you check the consent box, and you can opt out at any time (see below). We keep form data for up to 24 months.

Who we are

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

How we use it

To answer your request and send you local price ranges.
With your consent, to share your request with up to 3 ADU builders, and electricians, solar, fence or landscape pros for next-step requests so they can call, text or email you about your project.
To run, secure and improve the site (counted page views only; no advertising cookies or tracking pixels).
To comply with law.

Who we share it with

Matched businesses (only with your consent). Once they receive your request they handle it under their own privacy policies.
Service providers that run the site and forms (web hosting/forms: Netlify; page counts: GoatCounter; email). They may use it only to provide their service to us.
Authorities if required by law.

We never sell your information to data brokers or list sellers, and we never sell information of anyone we know is under 16.

Calls and texts

By checking the consent box you agree that up to 3 matched businesses may contact you at the number you gave, including by text. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts.

Your California privacy rights

Under the CCPA/CPRA you may ask us to: tell you what personal information we hold and how we used and shared it; delete it; correct it; and opt out of the sale or sharing of it. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

To opt out or make a request: email kjeldsen@mail.grokbot.com with the subject "Privacy request" and the phone or email you used. We confirm within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We may ask you to confirm the request from the same email or phone. An authorized agent may act for you with your signed permission. We honor Global Privacy Control browser signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing.

Do Not Track

We do not track you across other websites and do not use advertising cookies, so our practices are the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards and keep form submissions for up to 24 months, then delete them. No system is perfectly secure.
